Data Migration - Data migration services include migration from single or multiple legacy/ historical (mainframe or other) or client/server systems into one technologically current database structure. The process of migration typically involves inspection of all data to identify structure and anomalies and rule-based criteria for data placement is established. The existing system is compared and contrasted with the "new" system for format and content. The object is to provide a clean database and migration examines not only the data file system, but the data itself. The data is sorted and analyzed for categorical trends.
