EPM was established over twenty-five years ago to help nuclear plants achieve compliance with regulatory issues. EPM has been a constant provider of services and software related to nuclear plant engineering programs since that time and continues to provide expert guidance as regulations change and evolve. EPM has a close working relationship with the regulators and other policy setting organizations and is actively involved in shaping the industry’s licensing-related regulations specifically in the areas of deterministic (10 CFR 50 Appendix R) and performance-based (NFPA 805) post-fire safe shutdown.

    In support of its engineering services, EPM has been developing, implementing and deploying software automation/configuration management tools since its inception. EPM Genesis Solution Suite® is 10 CFR 50 Appendix B compliant and has been installed at over 25% of the operating nuclear units in the U.S. Genesis is comprised of the following integrated modules: SAFE for post-fire safe shutdown, EDISON for cable/wire management and new construction, and Milieu for environmental qualification.
